Just A Few Celebrations

Courtney and Katelyn had a special treat of afternoon tea and lunch for their birthdays. The girls ordered hot chocolate and thought it was delicious.

Meanwhile the younger ones had brunch and ordered hot chocolate as well.

There was an Easter bunny in downtown Los Altos that day, so Bella got a picture with him.

Afterwards, all the girls went to the Magical Playground. They loved going down the slide.

Morgan had a swim party birthday celebration.  The girls can spend hours in the pool and only got up when it was time for cake.

Luke had gymnastics party.  Kalina and Bella hung out most of the time.

Mommy and Daddy went to Vegas with Auntie Ali and Uncle Pete to celebrate Mommy's birthday.  Uncle Derek and Auntie Gabby were so incredibly nice to watch the girls for the weekend! Mommy is so appreciative! Aunt Gabby taught the girls how to sew. They made blankets for their babies.

They went to the vivarium to visit different animals.

They had a bacon party as Auntie Gabby likes to call it.

Taz and Chubz stayed over.  The girls walked the dogs in the morning.

The girls even had a slumber party in Mommy's room and of course read books before bedtime.

4 Years Old!

Bella turned 4 in January.  Her party was at the La Petite Playhouse.  She had fun going up and down the slide with her friends.

She had a second celebration with Mommy's side of the family.

She was pretty silly. Have a listen.

Tao Po loves Bella's hugs and affection.

At her 4 year old check, she had a hearing test and vision test.

Kaylee is Bella's best friend at school.  The teachers joke they are so close, they probably will be each other's bridesmaids.

It's always a treat to have dinner at Uncle Larry's restaurant. The kids are showing a heart for how much they love the potstickers and Uncle Larry.

The children lined up by height and of course it called for silly faces.

A decent effort by Katelyn capturing a photo of the adults.

Katelyn, her two friends and the dads went to Tahoe again

These three were so proud of all the blue runs they got in!

Katelyn loves spending time with Daddy! Thanks to him for driving up to Tahoe.

While Katelyn and Daddy were away, Natalie and Bella had a sleepover.

They enjoyed coloring and Bella went to church for the first time with Natalie.

It's Been Awhile...

Mommy has been extremely behind on updating.  Please expect the posts to be brief in detail, but hope you enjoy the pictures.  Life has been a crazy with work and the girl's weekend activities.  Let's go back to the end of last year.  The girls went to Tahoe with their friends.

Bella started off trying to learn to ski.  It was a little hard for Daddy to teach her since he's a snowboarder.

The next day she switched to snowboarding and went on the magic carpet.  Natalie was so nice to share the snowboard. Who knew snowboards were this small and cute!

Smiles from the two sisters.

Katelyn is getting more confident in her snowboarding skills and likes going on the lifts.

The kids met up with Mason and Sam at Circus Circus and had fun playing games to win prizes.

A group picture before leaving the cabin.

The girls got to stay up and watch the countdown east coast time. They toasted with apple juice.

During the holiday break, Courtney and Katelyn had a special lunch date and went to the American Girl store.

In honor of the 1001 days of schools, the children were asked to decorate t-shirts to represent the 101 Dalmatians.  Mrs. I dressed up as Cruella de Vil.

101 days was a cause to celebrate.  Mommy volunteered to help with the centers.

Daddy finally got tickets to the Museum of Ice-Cream.

The sprinkles pool was definitely their favorite attraction.

Winter Holiday Activities

It's been pretty busy with work and activities and less time to update the blog.  Let's catch up now.  Katelyn's Daisy scout troop created boxes to recycle markers that were low in ink.  Once the boxes are filled, the troop leader will bring the markers to have them refilled with new ink.  This way the old markers not wasted.

The girls were excited each day to find a Tsum Tsum in their advent calendar.

The line for Santa was much shorter than the previous year.  Santa asked them what they would like for Christmas.  Bella replied a pink teddy bear.  Katelyn said she didn't know, so Santa told her to mail him a letter when she can think of something.

Mommy purchased the cheapest picture option which did not include a digital download.  Instead here's a snap of the picture from her computer.

Katelyn had holiday break a few days before Christmas.  Daddy and Mommy took a couple days off to spend some quality time with their eldest.  Daddy had always wanted to try the brunch place, Mama's On Washington Square.  It was an hour and half wait.  Katelyn enjoyed their famous pancakes.

Afterwards she got a special treat of a manicure wither her good friend, Alana.  They both picked similar colors.

Bella wanted to help stick labels on the presents and even write her name.

Speaking of writing her name, she has been practicing writing her full name.   She still needs help spelling out her last name.

She's always greeted in the morning by her friends when she arrives at school.  Bella didn't get the memo to dress up like princesses.

Auntie Lilian had the girls over for a gift exchange.  Kalina was happy to have a tea party with the girls since she lives in a household with two older brothers.

Auntie Ali and Uncle Pete also hosted a gift exchange.  Here's the kids before they opened their gift from their Secret Santa.

Bella loved the smelly markers from Kenzie.  It came in a case which she loves to carry around the house.

Auntie Mai invited us to the ice skating rink.  Bella held on to the skate buddy or adult.

Katelyn and Adam tried skating without holding onto anything this year.

Auntie Caroline had the girls over to celebrate Christmas.  She taught them how to make origami animals.  The girls changed into their PJs before heading home.

Christmas Eve was at Po Po's house.  The annual family picture on the stairs missing a few families who were traveling.

The girls received first generation dolls.  Bella got a Hawaiian outfit from Auntie Suzy.

Katelyn got an outfit for her doll as well.

These three love their dolls so much!!

The girls surprised Mommy with homemade gifts.  She got a hand print for each month of the year and ornaments to hang on the tree.
