Happiest Place on Earth
Last week the girls experienced Disneyland for the first time. Bella did well on the flight going there. Coming back Daddy suspects her ears were bothering her during the decent.
When we arrived Thursday, the first thing the girls did was hit the pool.
Bella had never been in the water before. She was not a fan. The water was actually really cold.
K on the other hand loved being in the water.
Our hotel was literally across the park. It was convenient to walk each day. K is a big fan of Frozen, so the first thing Mommy did when she entered Disneyland was wait in line to meet Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. The park was giving away Fast Passes at that time. Mommy waited 45 minutes which she heard was super short compared to 2-3 hours other parents have waited. The fast pass told us to come back at 6pm. The wait was 15 minutes in the evening. K was so happy to meet them and could not stop talking about it all day.
K was proud to introduce Bella as her baby sister to Queen Elsa.
The first ride K went on was Dumbo. She rode it 3 times and would giggle each time as she pushed the lever up to fly higher.
Our selfies on Dumbo.
Another favorite was It's a Small World. The weather was 90 plus degrees in Anaheim. The ride was a perfect way to cool off. Bella even liked it and would look all around.
K loved the tea cups. She had fun spinning the wheel.
K stayed up each night past her bed time watching the fireworks show.
K is pretty girly and into princesses these days. Daddy booked a breakfast at Airel's Grotto at CA Adventures. When K met Airel, she held up her dress like a true princess.
Each princess would come to our table to meet K. The princess would chat for a few minutes and have their picture taken. Cinderella was the first to stop by.
Then Sleeping Beauty came.
Followed by the princess in Tangled.
Mommy forgot the name of this princess.
Although K loved the princesses, she was timid when it came to the Disney characters up close like Minnie Mouse. She only liked them from far away or when she watched them in the parade. Bella didn't mind them at all. Minnie even gave Bella a kiss on the nose.
Bella ran into Pluto and snapped a picture with him.
Bella was a trooper the whole trip. She took naps in the stroller and braved through the hot weather.
Many of the little girls at the park wore princess dresses. K wanted a Queen Elsa dress so badly at the Bippity Boppity boutique. She received a Disney gift card for her birthday and it went toward the purchase of the dress. Thankfully we had the gift card since the dresses are outrageously priced. K was ecstatic when she put on the dress despite the 90 degree weather. She loved twirling around in it and even wanted to wear it on the plane ride on, but Mommy said no. Something is definitely magical being at Disneyland. It was fun to experience Disneyland through the eyes of a 3 year old and see K's face light up. We can't wait to come again!

Hoppy Hop
Whenever K goes to the park and sees a hopscotch, she gets super excited! Take a look.
Daddy borrowed a double stroller for our upcoming trip to Disneyland. The girls tried it out over the weekend. We hope they are able to stay in it for awhile since we know how much they both hate being confined.
Other weekend activities included celebrating Auntie Diane's birthday.
The girls had a play date with James and Luke. K loves to color these days and tries to stay inside the lines.
Uncle Dan and Auntie Lilian are expecting their third child in November. This time a girl! It looks like Uncle Dan is ready to be a father of 3!

Lucas had a birthday party as well. He turned one. A magician and balloon maker came and entertained the kids.

Labor Day Recreation
Three day weekends means more quality time with the girls and fun with family and friends. Saturday morning, Bella trimmed her bangs at a kid's salon. She sat very still and got her own little smock. She did not cry at all!
Auntie Mai & Uncle Brian recently remodeled their house and invited us over to take a look. Their house was so clean. There was no clutter in sight!
K and Adam cruised around the house. K sported a BMW.
Meanwhile Bella played with Auntie Mai.
Uncle Brian helped capture a family picture.
On Sunday, Uncle Ken invited us over for a BBQ. Khloe was there too. She has grown since the last time we saw her. She seems as long as Bella and she's 5 months younger!
Ally and K played house together. Ally was the Mommy and K was the baby. At dinner time, Ally told K to eat one more bite of chicken, then she could have a strawberry for dessert. Ally even put the chicken on K's fork and told her to open wide!
There's always so many toys to choose from at Mason's house.
Monday was Ethan's birthday. He celebrated with a raspberry sorbet at the ice-cream parlor.
Tao Po loves Bella to pieces. She always wants to hold her and tries to make her laugh.
Family gatherings usually involves food. Uncle Derek recommended a tasty Korean restaurant called Spoon.
Bella was pooped by all the fun and excitement. Time for some shut eye.

Pull the toys off the exersaucer. Even she is surprised by her own strength.

Flip the page on the activity table.
Has a top tooth poking through. This explains why she was so cranky. Puts anything and everything in her mouth.
Loves her big sister and already has a special bond with her!
Has the best laughs with K!
Is able to crawl a few steps when she feels like going after something she really wants!
