Big Girls versus Little Girls

Bella went to dinner with Auntie Suzy, Josh, Christian and Aunt Esther.  Bella had a fun time with her older cousins being silly.

Bella and Natalie had a playdate in San Francisco while their older sisters went to Lake Tahoe.  They met up with Auntie Andrea.  She brought the girls to her place and they cuddled up with blankets on her couch.

 

The girls sat on the stroller from Auntie Andrea's place to the Ferry Building for lunch.  It took 45 minutes to get there. Luckily it was a nice day.

On the way back, the girls walked along the pier with Auntie Andrea.  She took good care of the girls.

Mommy and Bella went out to dinner later that night.  It was nice to have some quality time with the little one.

Katelyn and Courtney took a road trip to Lake Tahoe.  These two were really silly on the drive up and called each other sisters.

They joined Adam at the slope.

Katelyn rode the ski lift with Daddy for the first time.  Daddy helped her get off the lift.  Uncle Pete captured this picture.

Life Recently

Natalie had a tsum tsum birthday party.   The girls were happy to celebrate with their besties.

These three dressed up in costumes and put on a performance.

Katelyn celebrated 100 days of school.  She had a special project to collect 100 things and display them on a poster board.  She glued on the buttons and showed pictures of her classmates.

Now that Bella is 3, Daddy does not need to get in the pool with her anymore and she has a new teacher.  Bella's first day of her new class, she wanted Mommy to stay in the pool with her.  She tried to climb out and cried.

Despite her crying, she participated in the class and swam back and forth from the island.

She earned a sticker for being in the big kid class.

The girls wanted to take a selfie with Mommy.

The girls love playing Sequence.  Bella is pretty good at putting the chip on the animal.  She likes using the dragon to take away someone's chip.

Katelyn is improving on her reading skills.  She practices every day.

She was the student of the week and completed a special poster.  She shared fun facts about herself with her classmates.

Bella's favorite coach from fitness class is moving back to Australia since his visa expired.  She will miss you, Coach Sam!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Bella!

Sorry for the delay in updating the blog.  It's a busy time at work.  A couple weekends ago, the girls met Mason and Sam at Happy Hallow for a play date.

Katelyn discovered a new attraction.  She raced on a quad-cycle.

Bella still loves the cars.  She went on a few times while Katelyn was in line for the roller coaster.

Bella decorated cupcakes to bring to school for her third birthday.  She was very specific in requesting strawberry frosting.  She sprinkled red sugar specks.

On her birthday, Teacher E let Bella pick her favorite book, Pinkalicious and the Pink Cupcakes to read to the class.

Bella passed out the cupcakes to her friends during snack time.

Bella decided on her third birthday to pee pee in the potty at school and home.  At the beginning of the week, she had accidents at school, but on her third birthday, she did it!  She was so proud of herself!  She still wears a diaper at night and nap time and hasn't pooped in the potty yet, but hopefully in time.

Bella had her birthday party at the gym and invited her friends.

Katelyn was really nice to her little sister and helped her during the different obstacle courses.

Uncle Dan wanted to be in the picture.

Ashley couldn't make it to Bella's birthday party, so she celebrated with Bella later that evening.

For her third year check-up, Bella got her blood pressure taken.  She sat very still and listened to the nurse.

She measured 35.5 inches and weighs 26 pounds and 9 ounces.  She is 10th percentile for weight.

Bella, we love you so much! You bring us so much joy and especially laughter.  Wishing you the happiest third birthday!

Out And About

Mason invited the girls to paint pottery for his birthday celebration.  Katelyn picked a flower jewelry box and Bella chose a dog.  Bella painted her dog multi-colored.

The girls met their new baby cousin, Ava. She was less than a week old in this picture.  Bella wanted to give kisses to the baby.

Katelyn asked to hold Ava.

Mommy traveled to San Diego for a recruiting event. She Face-Timed the girls in the evening.  They wanted to tell Mommy all about their day.

Auntie Jill and Millie came to visit Mommy and they all grabbed a quick bite to eat.

The girls surprised Uncle Larry with a cake for his birthday.  Uncle Dan wanted to take a pic with the the guys and the kids.

Uncle Larry turned up the volume at the restaurant since there were not that many customers that night.  Bella danced to Britney Spears.  Check it out.  She loves to dance!



Bella had her annual 6 month dentist appointment and got her teeth checked and cleaned.  Her favorite part was watching T.V.

She picked up some stickers and a toy for doing a good job.

Preston joined the girls at the San Francisco Zoo.  The kids enjoyed a snack while watching the penguins.

The kids had fun riding on the train.
