Happy Easter

The girls returned from LA just in time for Easter.  They dyed eggs at Po Po and Gung Gung's house.

Since it was raining, Mommy hid the eggs inside the house.  Can you tell how excited the girls are to find the eggs, especially Bella!?

Bella earned her level 1 ribbon.  It took her awhile.  The one thing she needed to do still was climb out the pool herself.  She was so proud of herself when she finally did it.

Teacher E is moving to the kindergarten prep classroom.  Bella will miss her, but is glad she will eventually be in her classroom again when she is older.

Katelyn went on a field trip to Hidden Villa Farm.  She saw many different animals like chickens, horses and got up close to this goat.

The kids also tried different vegetables and herbs at the farm. Katelyn was hesitant at first, but did try rhubarb.

Bella started sleeping in her twin bed last week.  Mommy can finally give away the crib.  Bella says her new bed is comfy cozy.

Spring Break Vacation

The girls took a road trip to LA for Katelyn's spring break.  They arrived late afternoon, checked in the hotel, ate dinner and then went straight to watch the Electric Parade.  Bella was mesmerized by all the lights and ended up watching the parade 5 nights in a row at the park.

The next morning was breakfast at Goofy's kitchen.

Katelyn drew Minnie a picture at the hotel and was so excited to give Minnie the drawing.   Minnie gave Katelyn a big hug and pointed to a wall where she would hang up the drawing.

They met Chip for the first time.

Po Po joined us on the trip.  The girls loved spending time with her and Po Po is a trooper and goes on the rides.  Bella requested multiple times to go on Heimlich's Chew Chew train in Bug's Land.

She also loved the Francis The Ladybug Boogie ride.  She didn't mind how fast it spun.

Katelyn was an only child on the trip a few times.  While Po Po watched Bella, Katelyn went on Soaring with Mommy and Daddy.  She did not like this ride one bit.  She thought it was scary and felt like she would hit the landmarks on the ride.

However, she loved Radiator Springs Racers.  Daddy got a Fast Pass and the return time was in the evening.

It was Mommy's first time on the ride....apparently it was really windy that night or maybe Mommy thought the hills were a little scary and tried to hide her face.

The girls wanted to line up to see most of the princesses at the park.  They brought the itsy bitsy Elsa and Anna, Auntie Jill got for them when they met the sisters.

The girls visited the Royal Hall hoping to see new princesses each day.  The girls were over the moon happy to see princess Elena of Avalor.  They love watching her show.

It was pretty hard to track down Moana, but the girls finally found her on the last day.  They asked where pua and hei hei were.

Daddy and Mommy got a fast pass to ride Indiana Jones while Po Po took the girls around.

The girls soaked up some sun by playing at the water park at the hotel.

Dumbo was another ride the girls went on multiple times.  Katelyn and Bella both moved the lever to go higher and higher.

Thanks Disney for a fun time! We can't wait to come back.

Spring Is Here

Now that Spring is in the air, Bella and Katelyn enjoy riding their bike and scooter around the lagoon and stopping off to see the different type of flowers.

Grandma has many different kind of fake flowers at her home.  The girls like to pretend to own a flower shop and sell Mommy flowers.  They like to wear Grandma's sun hats as well.

Auntie Michelle hosted a bbq a couple weeks ago.  In her backyard, Uncle Will built a chicken coop.  Katelyn got to feed the chicken dried worms.

Mommy volunteered for a take home project.  She was to organize the student papers, so Mrs. B. can make the students a math quilt book.  Katelyn was a great helper and could read her classmates' handwriting.

Cake And Sweets

Two weeks ago, we celebrated Uncle Richard's birthday at Cheesecake factory.  The waiters surprised him with a slice of red velvet cheesecake.  He let Aiden and Bella blow out his candles.

The next day the girls celebrated uncle Stephen's birthday with cake and other sweet desserts. 

Last weekend the weather was really nice.  The girls packed a lunch, some fruit and had a picnic at the park.

Since it was so warm, the girls had Fenton's for dessert.

After swimming, the girls got a special treat of chocolate milk.  Bella wanted to hold the tray of drinks.

Bella still does not want to sleep in her big girl's bed and prefers to stay in her crib.
