Hold Me!

Bella is a baby that likes to be constantly held. At restaurants, she won't stay in the car seat and will whine and fuss until she is picked up. And not only picked up, but she wants someone to walk around as well. Talk about high maintenance! The pacifier will sometimes work and help soothe her. She usually ends up spitting it out though once she is asleep.

Night time and nap time can be challenging. After nursing, she needs to be held upright because of her acid reflux for at least 10-15 minutes. Sometimes Bella will be asleep after eating, other times she needs to be rocked and bounced on the exercise ball when she is tired and wants to go to sleep. Just when Mommy thinks she is snoring and out, Mommy goes to lay her down and once Bella's butt hits the pack and play, this is what Mommy will find. Her eyes are wide open staring at Mommy! She's probably thinking you can't outsmart me.

Mommy will pat her hoping she will go back to sleep. No such luck and within no more than 5 minutes, a loud cry will follow. The whole process will start all over with the rocking and bouncing. How frustrating!

Bella's favorite position is laying on someone's chest. It doesn't matter who's chest. She enjoys the feel of a heartbeat.

That's probably why she can sleep soundly in the Ergo. She will put up a fight when she first goes in, but after 10 minutes of bouncing she is fast asleep.

Despite Mommy's arms being tired, she will try to enjoy holding Bella all the time since before you know it, Bella will grow up so fast!
