South Lake Tahoe Trip

After Christmas, the girls took a trip to Lake Tahoe along with their friends, Courtney, Natalie, Adam and Ellie.  The kids opened some Christmas gifts at the cabin.  They received pajamas and slippers to wear on the trip.

The older kids went with their dads to take snowboarding lessons at Sierra.  The younger ones stayed at the cabin and played in the snow and attempted to build a snowman.

Uncle Pete and the dads built a hill in the backyard to go sledding.   Mommy and Bella went on a couple runs.

Daddy took a video during Katelyn's lesson.

She really liked her instructor, Travis.  She said he was really nice.  She got a report card at the end of the lesson and learned how to strap into her board, go on the magic carpet, attempt to make S turns and stop on her heels.

The next day, all the kids went to Sierra.  The dads were going to teach the kids themselves.

Katelyn was excited to go snowboarding again!

The younger girls sat at the bottom of the run to watch their siblings come down.  Bella and Natalie waited patiently for their sisters while enjoying some snacks.

Katelyn had a lot of fun going down the hill.  Take a peek at the videos.

A family picture before leaving the resort.

Back at the cabin, the kids had a snowball fight.  It was more like Daddy and Uncle Pete throwing snowballs at each other.

The shovel turned out to be a popular toy and the kids took turn using it.

Courtney and Katelyn had a blast sledding together.

On the last day, each family took a picture using the depth effect feature on the iPhone7+.

And of course, a group picture before saying good-bye.  Until next time...Tahoe!
