There were 7 families, 16 adults and 15 kids on the trip. We managed to get a couple group shots. This was on the stage area outside the lodge. The kids put on a performance and sang the theme song from Moana.
Some of the moms on the trip were teachers and helped wrangled the kids together. They even managed to almost have all the kids looking at the camera.
The first hike on the trip was to lower Yosemite Falls. Bella wanted to be a true hiker and found some hiking sticks.
Katelyn on the other hand made a new friend and held hands with Auntie Andrea's nephew during the hike. Not sure Daddy approved of that!
All the rainfall from this season made for a wet experience at the falls. Bella did not like getting wet.
Leaving the falls we managed to capture more group photos.
While the younger kids napped, the older kids went on a bike ride. They did pretty good since most of them just learned how to ride a bike recently.
After a job well done, the kids got ice-cream.
Bella and Nata knew how to live the good life. They snacked while relaxing on the lawn chairs.
Buses were our main mode of transportation to visit the other village sites. We got lucky and had this bus to ourselves. Some outings we were not as lucky when we had to wait for several buses to come. Most were packed with passengers and wouldn't let anymore on.
We also hiked to Mirror Lake.
Cheese!
The kids liked using sticks to touch the water.
The dads and Uncle Eric got together most evenings on the back yard porch.
Before heading home, the girls checked out Bridalveil Falls with Court and Natalie. Everyone got drenched. Even our shoes were soaking wet. The group had such an awesome time on the trip, Uncle Pete already booked Yosemite for 2018.
