Two days after Bella was born she had her first visit with Dr. Mason. Bella's stats for this visit:
Weight- 6 pounds, 9 ounces
Height-19.5 inches
Head circumference: 13.3 inches
Bella did not like being weighed one bit.
She also got her first sponge bath at home and protested that as well.
She preferred to be wrapped up in her towel instead.
It's been very rare for Bella to open her eyes. Mommy was able to capture this moment. Every since she got home she has slept at least 20 hours a day except for feedings. Dr. Mason said to enjoy this honeymoon phase for the time being.
Mommy was unsure if K would be jealous when Bella arrived home, but no signs of jealousy so far. K is so smitten over her sister. She always wants to lay her head on top of Bella to show her affection.
She also wants to kiss her all the time. She even brought over her doll's blanket to make sure Bella was warm enough.
