What Big Girls Do

K's teachers have told Daddy she has been taking on a leadership role in her classroom. Here's one example- she likes to pretend she is the teacher, forms her own circle time and reads to her friends. Mommy always said K likes to be the ring leader.

Over the weekend, K tried out her Christmas present from Po Po and Gung Gung.

Zuri and K managed to get Nathaniel to pull them in the wagon.

Watching Mommy nurse Bella everyday has paid off, K pretended to feed her own baby.

Her baby needed to burp too.

K is learning about rulers and how to measure things at school. Each kid got measured on the growth chart.

K enjoys playing with her alphabet play-doh letters. She can spell her own name.

The other day K went to the dentist and surprisingly did not cry. Mommy had been reading her Berenstain Bears Goes To the Dentist, so that could have helped. At the appointment, K got a dental report card that said she had a cleaning, fluoride treatment, no cavities,  2 more molars still need to come in (her bottom molars are 30 percent surfacing), her hygiene is good and it is recommended that she floss more. Dr. Tse gave her a princess flossing kit to encourage doing it every night. K will see Dr. Tse in another 6 months.
